happened today, that has made me very very happy.

I was having an
afternoon siesta when I woke up to voices from the dining room around 5pm or
so.

When I stepped out, I
saw a 28-year-old Maya seated on the chair having kaapi (South
Indian filter coffee). Meena is Chayya Behen’s daughter. Chayya ben works with
us, helping us with household chores.

Meena has been married
for about 9 years.
She is very beautiful
and has a daughter called Arya, who she drops to the school at 10am.
Her husband is a gym
instructor. He picks the child up from school.

I was informed that
Meena had started driving a taxi!
..
Yes, she is now part
of the 45 all-women cabbie team from Priyadarshini Service.

So that's 12 hours a
day

She uses GPS
On Thursdays she goes
to her English language lessons

After her kaapi,
she exited.
She had dropped Chayya
Behen to work today.
